The Story Behind Our Recorded Songs
Welcome to the official audio vault for unreleased material. This section features a collection of never published recorded songs by Lars Holm. Originally, Lars Holm wrote these tracks during the late 1980s and early 1990s. At the time, he served as the main keyboard player in the local Danish band called The Bikes.
During the band’s active lifetime, the lineup changed frequently. Consequently, various talented singers participated. They contributed original lyrics to some of the arrangements. However, the majority of these melodic pop and rock compositions were only performed live on stage. Therefore, they left behind a hidden catalog of unreleased material.
From Vintage Cassette Tapes to Modern Studio Work
Due to the period’s lack of digital documentation, the main reference for restoring this project was a single, old live cassette recording from 1991. The original live audio quality made it highly difficult to intercept the vocal tracks and exact lyrics. To bring these tracks into the modern era, Lars Holm carefully re-wrote and professionally recorded parts of the lyrics in modern studio quality.
This passion project breathes new life into lost melodies. Consequently, it provides an excellent opportunity to pitch them to anyone looking for authentic retro vibes or publishing deals.
